FujiFilm Instax Mini 8 Camera

13/08/2017 - Instax Mini 8 camera has been discontinued by FujiFilms and there is an another new model available in market for you. Successor is called FujiFilm Instax Mini 9 which you can get ofr pretty much same price as Mini 8 or sometimes cheaper. You can find more details about the new Mini 8 model here >> Link

FujiFilm Instax Mini 8 Camera is the cheapest Instant camera in market today. You don't find any other brand new instant camera for less than $100. There are old Polaroid Instant cameras but these are decades old and no longer in production. This camera is an upgraded version of Fujifilm instax Mini 7s  camera.

Instax Mini 8 camera has 5 photo modes. and It will indicate which mode is suitable. Since Flash always fires in this camera you must select the correct mode to get best result. Specially when you do outdoor photos pick Sunny or Bright sun mode depending on weather.

Fuji Instax Mini 8 camera uses 2 AA batteries unlike Mini 7s which use 4 AA batteries. But I recommend you to by 4-8 Sanyo Eneloop AA rechargeable batteries. You can buy 4 batteries for just $13 At amazon ( >> Here <<) or with charger for around $20 or less. These rechargeable batteries would save lots of money for you in long term. Since this camera uses Flash for every photo, it will take lot of battery power.

Mini 8 is smaller than Mini 7s but has most of same features and same lens. If you want a camera with more manual controls and also option to turn on/off  Flash then you should go for the Instax Mini 50s camera. (>> Here <<) It's bit more expensive than this camera but has most of manual controls.

This camera uses Fuji Instax Mini Film just like all Instax Mini series cameras. These film are cheaper and great in quality. Cost only around $0.65 per shot. No duds like in old Polaroid Instant Film or those Impossible project instant film. Also these film come as stickers.
