Polaroid Mio Instant Camera |
It's an frequently asked question if Instax Mini film can be used for Polaroid Mio cameras. Polaroid Mio camera looks like predecessor of both Polaroid 300 and FujiFilm Instax mini 7s cameras. There's a big chance Fuji made their instax cameras based on Polaroid Mio.
Anyway I couldn't find a exact answer for this question but found this Amazon ad which claim FujiFilm Instax Mini film can be used for Polaroid Mio camera. This seller of this item listed as FujiFilm so it's not by any random vendor who trys to sell some Instax Mini Film.
Polaroid Mio is one of the best Instant cameras made by Polaroid, in my opinion. It's small and soild camera and also photo quality is better than other Polaroid Models like Polaroid 600 series and Polarod SX-70. Also it has some cool options like a dual-zone telescoping lens, exposure control, and fill-flash control. Mio camera used 2 CR-Z lithium batteries.
If you check this Amazon ad, it clearly says Fuji Instax Mini Film is compatible with Polaroid Mio camera. I don't think company like Fuji would so something silly to sell their film. They already have a high demand for Instax Mini film so its no use. These are the features of Instax Film.
- Full color ISO 800 Film speed.
- Film size: 86 X 54 mm./3.5 X 2.3 inches.
- Image size or printed area: 62 X 46mm. /2.5 X 1.8 inches.
- Compatible with Instax Mini Cameras, Polaroid Mio, 300 & Diana instant Back.
These days it's hard to find Polaroid Mio Cameras in market. At Amazon used Mio cameras are listed for $35+. Not bad for collectors but it's better go for a Instax Mini 8 camera if you are looking for cheap instant camera. Mini 8 is only $60 at Amazon so don't buy a used outdated camera because it's $25 cheaper.
