Fujifilm Instax Mini Hello Kitty Camera is one of the two instant cameras Fujifilm has launched few days ago. HelloKitty is one of the most famous themes around the world and millions of girls in all countries love these items and collectibles. This year HelloKitty celebrate their 40th anniversary and it's 80th anniversary of Fujifilms. So for this this cute specially designed instant photo camera is released. Fujifilm plan to sell over three million pieces in Asia Pacific market alone and price of this camera going to be around $200. So it's not exactly a cheap instant camera. But they believe selling this new HelloKitty camera won't be hard.
Even thought it has new design the camera has same features as Instax Mini 8 camera. It uses two AA batteries and Instax Mini photo paper. You get a Macro lens along with it for using close up and macro photo shoots. Fresh pair of Alkaline AA batteries will give you 20 Instax Mini photo prints. But we recommend you to buy couple of pairs of rechargeable AA batteries from a Good brand like Sanyoo. These rechagable batteries are not expensive anymore and also since these are high powered you will able to take more photo prints than from normal Alkaline batteries.
Camera will be in market after November 21th and cost will be around $200. You get a 10 photo paper pack of Instax Mini film with cute pink borders, a shoulder strap, HelloKitty sticker card. This camera won't be available in every camera store like normal Fujifilm camera. Even in Japan its available only at TWR stores. Since it's a expensive product they will try to control the supply to keep the demand high.
Fujifilm Instax Mini Hello Kitty Camera is a great product for Hello Kitty fans but the price is too high for normal avarage camera user. So if you are just looking for a good Instant photo camera then this model is not for you. Better check other latest camera which is Instax 300 and also good cameras in market today like Mini 8 which is very cheap and Mini 90 which is the best camera in market. Also there's Polaroid Z340 digital instant camera if you want to move photos in or out of camera.
Fujifilm released several other HelloKitty camera under " Cheki " series. Specially Instax Mini 25 Cheki model has become popular. You can still buy it for around $100 in market and also from Amazon.
