Instax 300

Fujifilm Instax 300 is the successor of  Instax 210 camera. This is the second Instant photo camera Fujifilm has launched this year but this model won't be available in US and Europe market before March 2015. But there are many die hard Instax fans who expressed disappointment about this this new model. They don't believe this Instax 300 has in significant improvements over Instax 210 apart from the slimmer body.

Unfortunately they are correct about that. New camera looks lot nicer from outside and it looks slim and posh but from inside it's same old Instax 210 camera. Nothing has changed, Same lens and same image system. So There wouldn't improvement in image quality. So if you already have a Fuji Instax 210 camera then better think twice before buying this camera. You might regret your decision since it's basically the same thing apart from it's look. If you do want a Wide film camera then go for this camera than the old 210 model.

You won't able to buy it for several months since Fuji hasn't released it to international market yet but it will come with a price tag of $130 - $150. So Still Instax 210 is the cheapest  instant photo camera in market today. If you can't afford this camera you should go for the 210 since it's nearly same as the model 300.

This camera uses four AA batteries and highly recommend you to buy 2 sets of AA rechargeable batteries along with the camera when you buy it. Alkaline batteries are no match for these power hungry machines. Specially if you want to take loads of photo prints in a event like a Wedding or party then you must have several sets of spare batteries you will end up in trouble. You don't want run to nearest shop in middle of party to buy new batteries.

Instax 300 uses Instax Wide film just like the 210. Wide film is not hard to find unlike Polaroid Film or Impossible Project film for Polaroid cameras. Also price is lot less too, Cost only around $0,60 per photo print.

Still don't remember there are Instant photo camera models in market which might better for you, There is Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 camera which cost around $170 and if you want to move photos from camera to other devices like to computer or phone then there is Polaroid z340 instant digital camera. That one cost you around $250. Also don't forget the Instax Mini Hello Kitty Instant camera which launched along with this model,
