Polaroid Socialmatic Camera

Polaroid Socialmatic Camera

Polaroid Socialmatic Camera is the latest instant camera from Polaroid which was released last month. Last month is specail for Instant camera market since Fujifilm has released Fujifilm Instax 300 camera and Fujifilm Instax Mini Hello Kitty camera. This Socialmatic Camera is the answer from Polaroid for that. It's been a while since they released Instant photo camera and even this camera was in development for long time.

This camera is armed at Teenagers and Youth who use Social Media. This product is made so they can not only take instant photo prints but also upload the same photo to all social sites like Facebook or Twitter. So it comes with built in Wi-Fi and it's running on Android phones.

It's a 14 mega pixel camera with a 2 Mega pixel rare camera for selfies. This Socialmatic Camera has everything A teen would want from a camera. You can take photos, upload those to soical sites, move to other devices or print instantly. It comes with 4.5 inches touch screen so it's so easy to operate. Plus it comes with bunch of photo editing apps to help you to get improved photos.

That's not all you also get 4GB of built-in memory and use MircoSD card. A GPS sensor and Bluetooth is included too.

It uses Polaroid ZeroInk Photo paper ( Here ) which you can buy for around $20 a 50 paper pack. These are 2 x 3 Mini photos, size of credit card. Post cost is around $00.50 or even less you buy a discounted film pack from place like Amazon.

Polaroid Socialmatic cost you around $299 at Amazon with free shipping. As all other Polaroid digital instant photo cameras price is little too high for average teen. It's definitly not a budget camera or cheap instant camera. It need bit of investment so if you want a Instant film camera but have low budget then this is not the one for you.

If you want a cheap instant camera then Fujifilm Instax are still only choice you have. Check Instax Mini 8, Instax 210 or New Instax 300 models. These cameras you can buy for $100 or less. Film price is pretty much same, $00.50 per photo print.

Until this camera Polaroid was trying to fight with Fujifilm Instant photo camera market share and it was a loosing battle. Even thought the camera is expensive it might be the best thing Polaroid has come up with so far it stay in competition. It too early to make a review about the new Polaroid model but I have high hopes about it unlike their older cameras.
